Dimitris Anagnostou

Dr. Dimitris Anagnostou is an Associate Professor at Heriot-Watt University's Institute of Signals, Sensors and Systems in Edinburgh, UK. He holds a B.S.E.E. from Democritus University of Thrace (2000), M.S.E.E. and Ph.D. from the University of New Mexico (2002–2005). Previously, he served as Assistant and Associate Professor at South Dakota School of Mines & Technology and held roles at Georgia Tech and Kirtland AFB as an AFRL Summer Faculty Fellow. His research focuses on reconfigurable antennas, metamaterials, biomedical applications, and neural network integration in antenna systems. He has authored over 200 publications and received notable awards including the IEEE John D. Kraus Award and European H2020 MSCA Fellowship. He serves on editorial boards of IEEE Transactions and chairs technical committees in antenna research.
