Dimitrios Zisis

Dimitrios Zisis serves as an Assistant Professor of Management Science in the Department of Management Science and Technology at the School of Business Administration, Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). Previously, he held academic positions at Norwich Business School (University of East Anglia), Warwick Business School (University of Warwick), Alba Graduate Business School, and the University of Liverpool Online Programs.

Education:

• Bachelor's in Mathematics, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA)
• Master's in Statistics and Operations Research (with scholarship for academic excellence), NKUA
• Ph.D. in supply chain mechanism design, Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB)

Research Focus: His work centers on business process analysis, design, and optimization through analytical and computational methods from Game Theory and Operations Research. Key applications include supply chain systems and transportation logistics, with publications in journals like Production and Operations Management, Omega, and Transportation Research Part D.

Research Funding: Participated in projects funded by organizations and companies across Greece, the UK, Europe, and China.
