Dimitrios Zekkos

Dimitrios Zekkos is a Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, and serves as Vice Chair for Strategic Planning and Implementation. He is also Founder and CEO of ARGO-E LLC, focusing on geotechnical and geoenvironmental solutions.

His recent publications emphasize landslide inventory statistics, gravelly soil liquefaction, MSW landfill behavior, and erosion dynamics in mountainous regions. Key themes include remote sensing integration, machine learning applications, and 3D modeling of geohazards.
