Dimitrios Makrakis

Dimitrios Makrakis is an Associate Professor at the School of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, University of Ottawa, serving as Co-op Coordinator for the Engineering program. His research focuses on wireless and optical networks, network security, ubiquitous computing, and bio-inspired communication systems. He holds positions in both the School of Computer Science and the School of Information Technology and Engineering (SITE), contributing to interdisciplinary engineering education and innovation.
