Dimitrios Ladas

Dimitrios Ladas is an Associate Professor of Labor Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he joined in 2009. He teaches courses including Individual/Collective Labor Law, Enterprise Law, and European Labor Law through the European Law School Network.

His research focuses on labor rights intersections with consumer law, enterprise law, and maritime employment, with recent work on crowdworking and teleworking in the European context. He has authored multiple monographs and articles in Greek, German, and English journals on topics like employment classification, non-traditional work arrangements, and judicial enforcement of labor rights.

As a practicing attorney, he has served at the Athens Bar Association since 1990 and was Director Attorney at National Insurance S.A. (2019–2023). He speaks Greek, German, and English fluently.
