Dimitrios Gounopoulos

Dimitrios Gounopoulos is a Professor of Accounting and Finance at the University of Bath, previously serving as Head of Department (Research). He holds visiting roles at Newcastle University and the University of Sussex, and has held professorial positions at Newcastle University Business School and the University of Sussex. His academic journey includes degrees in Electrical Engineering, an MBA from Leeds University, and a PhD in Accounting and Finance from Manchester Business School. He also earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice from the University of Surrey.
