About
Dimitri Sverjensky is a Professor in Earth and Planetary Sciences at Johns Hopkins University. His research focuses on theoretical geochemistry applied to deep Earth processes, including fluid-rock interactions in subduction zones and planetary habitability.
Recent work examines carbon speciation under extreme conditions and sulfur cycling in the mantle. His Deep Earth Water model advances predictions of aqueous geochemistry at high pressures.
