Dimitri Donskoy

Dr. Dimitri Donskoy is Associate Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology, specializing in acoustic diagnostics and nondestructive testing. A Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America (2007), he received the USSR National Prize (1987) for foundational work in nonlinear acoustics.

Research Interests: Develops vibration/acoustic techniques for structural health monitoring, landmine detection, and sensor design, with applications in infrastructure, marine environments, and medical diagnostics.

Publications: Recent innovations include ML-enhanced vibro-acoustic modulation for damage detection (2023) and curvature-corrected ultrasonic measurements (2024), improving accuracy in defect characterization.
