Dimitar Ivanov

Professor Dimitar Ivanov is a faculty member at the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies (UniBIT), affiliated with the Institute for Scientific Research in the Field of Organization, Management and Protection of KIN (INIOOUZKIN) and the Department of KINT. His academic work focuses on Thracian studies and cultural development models.

His research interests include:

• Thracian cultural history and development
• Conceptual modeling of ancient civilizations
• State-building processes in Proto-Thrace
• Spiritual and value parameters in historical development

Professor Ivanov has systematized his research in three monographs under the general title "The World of the Thracians," presenting a chronological and cultural picture of Proto-Thrace, emphasizing the autochthonous development of Thracian culture where migrations had a minor influence. His conceptual generative model approach includes establishing worldview starting positions, final goals, and tools within historically limited sub-periods.

He remains active in academic engagement, as evidenced by his scheduled public lecture on March 13, 2024, discussing the Thracian conceptual generative model of development.
