Dietmar Schmitz

Prof. Dr. Dietmar Schmitz is a Group Leader and Site Speaker at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) in Berlin. His research focuses on understanding memory consolidation at both cellular and systemic levels, particularly how memory traces are transferred from the hippocampus to the cortex in conditions like Alzheimer's disease.
