Dieter Uhl

Dieter Uhl is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tübingen and a scientist affiliated with the Senckenberg Forschungsinstitut und Naturmuseum Frankfurt am Main. His work focuses on the diversity and palaeoecology of Late Palaeozoic and Cenozoic palaeofloras, functional adaptations of plant morphology/anatomy, and semi-quantitative palaeoenvironmental reconstructions. He also investigates the interplay between vegetation, wildfires, and global change, while addressing taphonomic biases in palaeoenvironmental studies.
