Didier Jourdan is a full Professor of Education at the University of Clermont Auvergne (France). He holds the UNESCO Chair “Global Health and Education” and leads the WHO Collaborating Centre for “Research in Education and Health,” both focused on intersectoral knowledge production and sharing. His research emphasizes the impact of health promotion interventions, health inequalities, implementation mechanisms, professional activity, and ethical issues in public health.
Prior to his academic role, he served as Director of the Prevention and Health Promotion Division at the French National Public Health Agency, where he spearheaded national and regional policies in prevention, health education, risk reduction, and health promotion.
Professionally, he is deeply engaged with international networks in health education and promotion, actively collaborating on global research initiatives in health promotion and education.
