Dick Stegewerns

Dick Stegewerns is an Associate Professor in Japanese Studies at the University of Oslo. His research spans the political, intellectual, and diplomatic history of modern Japan, with a focus on East Asia's international relations, war memory, and cultural identity. He also explores Japanese cinema and popular culture, including sake's historical significance.
