Dianne Simmons

Dianne Simmons is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Educational Studies at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU). She has taught teacher education for 20 years, specializing in courses such as EDUC 1150 - Introduction to Higher Education for International Students.

• B.A. in French Linguistics from the University of New Brunswick
• M.Ed. in Adult Education from the University of New Brunswick

Her research focuses on international education, student engagement theory, ePortfolio pedagogy, critical thinking development, and learning styles. She works across KPU's Surrey and Richmond campuses, with offices in Fir 3424 (Surrey) and Main 2900 (Richmond).
