Diana Clayton

Diana Clayton is a Senior Lecturer at Oxford Brookes Business School, focusing on Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Leadership, and Change Management. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as Events Management and HR Management in Practice, while supervising research projects up to doctoral level (PhD and Doctorate in Coaching and Mentoring).

Her research centers on Knowledge Management and Knowledge Sharing, particularly within temporary event organizations and volunteer communities. Using hermeneutic phenomenology, she explores how volunteers co-construct event experiences through knowledge exchange, emphasizing organizational performance and competitive advantage. Her work bridges academia, policy, and practice.

Diana has published in ABS-rated journals like Journal of Knowledge Management and Event Management, with recent research on festival volunteer realities. She has presented at international conferences including the European Conference on Knowledge Management and Association of Events Management Educators (AEME) Forum.
