Diana Chaplin

Diana Chaplin is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education at the University of Greenwich, with qualifications including BEd Hons, QTS, MA, and MA Cantab. Her teaching encompasses Understanding Creativity in Early Years Contexts, The Young Mathematician, Early Childhood Education, Curriculum and Assessment, and Child Development & Learning. With extensive experience in inclusive education, she previously taught in special schools and served as a lecturer at Mid-Kent College.

Chaplin's research integrates dance movement psychotherapy with educational interventions, exploring creative methodologies for childhood development. She founded the Early Years Network seminar series 'Inspiring Innovation in Early Years Education' and 'Bringing Learning to Life' to foster professional dialogue. As Faculty Champion for Social Enterprise, she organizes events like the Social Enterprise Festival and promotes community engagement.
