Devon Bonady

Devon Bonady is an Instructor in Horticulture at Oregon State University's College of Agricultural Sciences, specializing in ethnobotany and sustainable plant systems. Her expertise focuses on Pacific Northwest native edible and medicinal plants, with over 15 years of practical experience through her former operation of Fern Hill Nursery and Botanical Sanctuary. Teaching spans multiple institutions including University of Oregon and Lane Community College.

Research and instruction emphasize historical and contemporary human-plant relationships, permaculture design, and sustainable cultivation practices. Currently developing new agricultural initiatives in Central Vermont while maintaining academic appointments.
