Desirée Dabney

Desirée Dabney is an Assistant Professor and Head of Musical Theatre at Virginia Commonwealth University's School of the Arts. As a professional actor, director, and executive director of Theatre Diva Productions, she integrates industry experience into her academic role.

Her research focuses on musical theatre performance, acting techniques, and arts education advocacy. She actively engages in curriculum development and community arts initiatives.
