Dr. Desiree Branson is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Wegmans School of Nursing, St. John Fisher College, teaching in both graduate and undergraduate programs. She holds a DNP, M.S., and B.S. in Nursing from the University of Rochester, a B.S. in Business Studies from Buffalo State College, and an AAS from Erie Community College.
Her clinical expertise includes vascular surgery at Strong Memorial Hospital and in-home health assessments through United Health Care. Research interests focus on acute care, quality metrics, Alzheimer's disease, and nursing leadership development.
Professional leadership includes serving as President of the Nurse Practitioner Association of New York State and director of Region 2. She is actively involved with Sigma Theta Tau and advocates for allergy awareness through the Allergy Advocacy Association.
