Dennis Tyler is Associate Professor and Associate Chair for Lincoln Center Undergraduate Studies in the English Department at Fordham University. He holds a BA from Stanford University and MA/PhD from UCLA. His research explores African American literature and culture, disability studies, critical race theory, and 19th-20th century American literature.
His office is located in Martino Hall 415. Professor Tyler teaches courses such as 'Texts & Contexts: The Phenomenon of Oprah's Book Club' and 'Black American Icons'. His scholarly approach examines intersections of race, disability, and performance in American cultural production.
