Dennis Bennett

Dennis Bennett serves as an Instructor and Assistant Director of Writing at Oregon State University's School of Writing, Literature & Film, where he teaches technical writing and thesis/dissertation writing courses while supporting WR 121z (first-year writing) to foster campus-wide writing culture.

His research examines design thinking applications for wicked problems, focusing on how these methodologies enhance analytical capabilities, critical thinking, and novel problem-solving approaches. At the graduate level, he develops cognitive, metacognitive, and rhetorical frameworks to support students transitioning from knowledge consumers to independent scholars and expert practitioners.
