Denise R. Dahm, MD, MPH serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She joined the faculty in 2009 within the Division of Geriatrics, Gerontology, and Palliative Medicine and transitioned in 2014 to the Robert B. Green Downtown Campus, where she established a geriatric assessment clinic and maintains an active role as faculty preceptor in the internal medicine continuity clinic.
Dr. Dahm's clinical and research focus centers on geriatric care systems, with specialized expertise in comprehensive geriatric assessment, primary care for elderly populations, and palliative medicine integration. Her work addresses critical gaps in aging healthcare through clinical innovation and medical education, particularly in urban primary care settings serving vulnerable elderly communities.
From 2012-2015, Dr. Dahm served as Associate Program Director for the Geriatric Medicine Fellowship, shaping curriculum and training for future specialists.
