Denis Ribouillault is a Full Professor in the Department of Art History, Cinema, and Audiovisual Media at the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences. He specializes in Renaissance and Baroque art history, focusing on gardens, landscape, and urban iconography. His research integrates anthropology, cultural history, and intermedial approaches. Ribouillault has held prestigious fellowships, including at Harvard’s Villa I Tatti and the French Academy in Rome. He teaches courses on Renaissance art in Rome and thematic research topics.
