Dr. Dena P. Garner is a Professor of Health and Human Performance at The Citadel's Department of Health and Human Performance, part of the Swain Family School of Science and Mathematics. She joined The Citadel in 2004 and holds a PhD in Muscle Physiology from Oregon State University, an M.S. in Exercise Physiology from the University of South Carolina, and a B.A. in Art History and Design from Furman University.
