Demian Weekley serves as a Professor of English as a Second Language at the Language Studio of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) since 2017. His career spans over two decades, with teaching positions at City College of San Francisco, San Francisco State University, and international institutions in Italy and Ukraine.
His educational background includes:
- M.A. in TESOL from San Francisco State University
- B.A. in Spanish from the University of Georgia
Weekley's research focuses on TESOL, second language acquisition, and language teaching methodology. He has developed curricula for academic English, critical thinking, and writing, and has integrated technology (CALL) into language instruction for diverse learners including immigrants and international students.
