Demetrius Donseroux

Demetrius Donseroux, PhD, is a Visiting Professor of Counseling and Clinical Coordinator of the Counseling Program at Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLUSA). He holds expertise in career exploration across the life cycle and integrates biblical principles into counseling practice. His teaching philosophy emphasizes empowering students to build lifelong knowledge and skills.

• Education: PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision (St. Mary's University), MA in Community Counseling (St. Mary's University), MBA in Finance (University of the Incarnate Word), BA in Economics (St. Mary's University).

Research interests focus on career development and ethical practices in counseling. He has been recognized with awards including 2nd Place in the American Counselor Ethics Essay Competition and Distinguished Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter status. Donseroux is an active member of professional organizations such as the American Counseling Association and Chi Sigma Iota.

Outside academia, he enjoys traveling, jazz music, and outdoor adventures like exploring Big Bend National Park.
