Demetre J. Economou

Demetre J. Economou is a Professor (Post-Tenure) and holds emeritus chairs at the University of Houston's Cullen College of Engineering. He is affiliated with the William A. Brookshire Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. His research focuses on plasma-assisted chemical vapor infiltration, RF heating techniques, and materials engineering. Notable honors include the Hugh Roy and Lillie Cranz Cullen Distinguished University Chair and the John and Rebecca Moores Professorship (Emeritus).
