Dr. Delon Washo-Krupps is a Teaching Professor at Arizona State University's School of Life Sciences since 2004. She teaches Human Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, and General Biology courses, both on-campus and online. As a Barrett Honors Faculty member, she advises honors students through directed studies and thesis projects. Her expertise spans Microbiology, Physiology, and Cancer Research.
Education: B.S. in Zoology (Northern Arizona University, 1993) and Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology (University of Arizona, 2000). Post-doctoral research at the Arizona Cancer Center focused on antioxidants' effects on cancer cells.
She founded AZ Prussian Snailhound Dog Rescue, a non-profit dedicated to animal welfare. Recognized with the CLAS Distinguished Teaching Award for Outstanding Lecturer (2007-2008).
