Deepali Bij

Deepali Bij is an Associate Lecturer in Psychology within the College of Health, Psychology and Social Care at the University of Derby. Her research focuses on health psychology approaches to chronic pain management, particularly for patients with sickle cell disease. She specializes in developing and validating psychometric instruments for assessing patient experiences with pain treatment.

Her primary research output examines the development and validation of the Satisfaction with Treatment for Pain Questionnaire (STPQ), a psychometric instrument designed to evaluate treatment satisfaction among sickle cell disease patients experiencing chronic pain.
