Deepa Srikantaiah

Dr. Deepa Srikantaiah is an educator, scholar, and artist with affiliations at the University of Maryland, College Park (Affiliate Professor, International Education Policy Program), SIT Graduate Institute (Affiliated Faculty, EdD in Global Education), and American University (Adjunct, City Teaching Alliance Program). She holds a PhD and MA in International Education Policy and a BS in Microbiology, all from the University of Maryland.

Her research explores culturally sustaining pedagogies, postcolonial studies, indigenous knowledges, and mathematics education, with a focus on equity, inclusion, and global educational reform.
