Deepa Chandrasekaran

Deepa Chandrasekaran is the Anheuser-Busch Endowed Professor and Department Chair of Marketing at the Carlos Alvarez College of Business, University of Texas at San Antonio. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California and specializes in innovation management and international marketing strategy.

Her research focuses on new product diffusion, digital platforms, and emerging markets. Chandrasekaran's work examines how consumers adopt innovations across cultural contexts, with particular emphasis on crowdsourcing, platform envelopment, and cross-national survey methodologies. Her recent publications explore post-pandemic service challenges, bottom-of-pyramid marketing, and the psychological roots of financial behavior.
