Deep Mukherjee

Dr. Deep Mukherjee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economic Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur), part of the Humanities & Social Sciences school. He holds a PhD in Agricultural & Resource Economics from the University of Connecticut and has established himself as a researcher in agricultural economics, development studies, and energy policy.

His research interests span Agriculture, Development, Efficiency & Productivity Analysis, Energy, and Public Policy, with a focus on applying econometric methods to real-world economic challenges.
