Debra Spark is a Zacamy Professor of English at Colby College and a faculty member in the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College. She is a celebrated author of four novels, two short story collections, and two essay books, with forthcoming work Discipline (2024). Her writing explores intersections of art, trauma, and human experience.
- Education: Yale University, Iowa Writers’ Workshop
Her research and creative work spans fiction writing, literary criticism, art journalism, and translated French literature. She contributes a monthly book review column on French literature for Frenchly.us and has written extensively about home design for regional publications.
