Debra Moss Vollweiler is a tenured Professor of Law at Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad College of Law in Fort Lauderdale, FL. A graduate of Boston College Law School (J.D., cum laude) and Tufts University, she has been a full-time faculty member since 2001 and was promoted to Full Professor in 2008. Her administrative roles include Associate Dean for Academic Affairs (2017–present) and founding director of the Public Interest Law Center.

Her scholarship focuses on curriculum reform, attorney ethics, professionalism, and pedagogy. She co-authored the book Legal Education at a Crossroads and has published over 30 works examining intersections between legal education and professional identity. Recent articles analyze consumer-oriented education models during the pandemic and data-based curriculum development.

She is actively involved in national legal education organizations, serving on AALS executive committees and as an ABA accreditation site inspector. Awards include:
- NSU Distinguished Professor of the Year (2017)
- Florida Bar Law Faculty Professionalism Award (2017)
- NSU College of Law Executive of the Year (2019, 2021)
- NITEP Fellow (2016)
Vollweiler previously chaired Florida Bar committees on judicial independence, attorney discipline, and the future of legal education, and was a key leader in the 'Vision 2016' initiative.
