Debra Glass is a Lecturer in the School of Design at San Francisco State University. She is also the Principal of Revival Creative, a design firm specializing in branding, messaging, and visual design. Her professional work has contributed to well-known consumer brands, prominent Bay Area restaurants, and innovative technology companies.
Education: She holds a B.F.A. in Philosophy from Knox College (Galesburg, Illinois), pursued art history studies as a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and earned an M.F.A. in Design from the California College of the Arts.
Research interests focus on design strategy, brand identity systems, and the intersection of art historical principles with contemporary creative practices. She emphasizes practical applications of design theory in commercial and cultural contexts.
Office hours are held virtually via Zoom on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. by appointment, complementing the School of Design’s general office hours Monday–Friday 8:30 a.m. – Noon and 1 – 4:30 p.m.
