Debra Espinor

Debra Espinor is an Associate Professor of Education at George Fox University's College of Education, where she has served since 2010 while also teaching in the College of Business. She currently co-directs the Digital Fluency Institute and delivers hybrid/online courses across both colleges.

Dr. Espinor’s research integrates vocational development with practical pedagogy through Clinical Practicum and Co-Teaching frameworks, while emphasizing International Education partnerships—particularly with Guatemalan schools—and Diversity Community Service initiatives that bridge educational theory with real-world application.

Prior to George Fox, she taught educational psychology and learning theories at Seattle Pacific University for nine years and served 20 years at Heritage Private School (including seven as principal). Her leadership includes chairing the elementary education program and directing the ELED program.

She actively contributes to educational technology advancement through the Digital Fluency Institute and serves in community engagement via the Worship Band at Compass Church, Vancouver.
