Deborah Wearne

Deborah Wearne is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia (UWA) in the Department of Psychiatry, part of the UWA Medical School. Her research focuses on hallucinations, schizophrenia, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the intersection of trauma with psychiatric phenomena. She has contributed to understanding visual and auditory hallucinations in mental disorders, with a particular emphasis on phenomenological aspects and clinical correlations.
