Deborah Kottel serves as Professor of Legal and Paralegal Studies at the University of Providence. She coordinates the paralegal and legal studies program and teaches law courses. Her educational background includes a BS from Loyola University, graduate studies at Roosevelt University, and a JD from DePaul University.
Her research focuses on Commercial and Property Law. She maintains active community involvement through the Homeless Continuum of Care Committee, executive directorship of St. Vincent de Paul, and board memberships at Cascade County Law Clinic and Alluvion Health. Dr. Kottel has significant public service experience, having served four terms as a Montana State Representative and chaired the Great Falls Airport Board.
