Deborah Casey

Deborah Casey serves as an Associate Teaching Professor in the Marketing Entrepreneurship and Innovation Department at the Manning School of Business, University of Massachusetts Lowell. She holds an MBA from UMass Lowell (2012) and a BA in Education & Special Education from Boston College (1977), with additional education in progress at UML.

Her research interests span business development, strategic planning, marketing, consumer behavior, team leadership, and digital marketing. She also explores unique topics including the relationship between presentation skills and idea quality, the value of academic research to business professionals, and the challenges faced by left-handers in learning environments.

Professor Casey has received numerous teaching accolades from 2017-2024, including multiple OER awards, Excellence in Teaching awards from both the Student Government Administration and Manning School of Business, and the unique 'Professor of the Game' award related to ice hockey. Her industry experience includes senior business leadership roles with expertise in strategic planning, business development, and revenue growth.
