Deborah A. Madanayake

Deborah A. Madanayake is an Assistant Professor in St. Catherine University's Doctor of Physical Therapy program. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Therapy from the College of St. Scholastica, a Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Bioethics at Loyola University.

Certified as a Geriatric Clinical Specialist, Lymphedema Therapist, and Exercise Expert for Aging Adults, she teaches courses in geriatric physical therapy, ethics, legal issues, and practice management. Her research examines assistive device impacts on gait, geriatric exercise efficacy, and ethics education outcomes.

She maintains clinical practice across geriatric transitional care, outpatient, and adult day program settings.
