Debora Rizzuto

Debora Rizzuto is a Principal Researcher and Docent in Geriatric Epidemiology at Karolinska Institutet's Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society. She leads the EcoMind research group focusing on environmental exposures' impact on cognition and mental health, particularly investigating biomarkers linking air pollution to dementia. As Vice-Director of the National E-infrastructure for Aging Research (NEAR), she coordinates Sweden's major longitudinal aging studies. Her work integrates epidemiological methods with environmental and biological data to address aging-related health challenges.
