Dr. Debbie Macpherson holds dual roles as Senior Technical Officer in the Multipurpose Teaching Facility (College of Medicine and Public Health) and Casual Academic in the College of Science and Engineering at Flinders University. She is an education-focused academic specializing in microbiology and molecular biosciences, with a strong emphasis on laboratory teaching innovation and student engagement.
Education: B.Sc. (Hons) in Biological Sciences (Flinders University, 1988), PhD in Microbiology and Immunology (University of Adelaide, 1995), and postdoctoral training at the University of Guelph, Canada. She returned to Flinders' School of Biological Sciences in 2006.
