Debbie L Wilson

Debbie L. Wilson is a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Florida's College of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes & Policy. Her work focuses on pharmacoepidemiology, drug safety, and health outcomes research with emphasis on opioid use disorders, cardiovascular outcomes, and machine learning applications in healthcare. She holds a registered nurse certification from the Florida Board of Nursing.

Research interests span big data analytics, predictive modeling for overdose risk, and disparities in healthcare access. Notable contributions include studies on narcolepsy-cardiovascular links, buprenorphine treatment adherence, and opioid-benzodiazepine trajectory analysis. She has led a grant investigating blood pressure medication use in VA hospitals (2023–2024).
