Dr. Debayan Banerjee is an Academic Advisor (Akademischer Rat) at Leuphana University’s Artificial Intelligence and Explainability Group under Prof. Ricardo Usbeck. Previously, he completed his PhD at the University of Hamburg’s Language Technology Group (2023), advised by Prof. Chris Biemann and Prof. Ricardo Usbeck. His research focuses on Knowledge Graph Question Answering (KGQA), Neurosymbolic AI, and Large Language Model integration with structured data. He has co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications and developed datasets like DBLP-QuAD and LC-QuAD 2.0.
