Dr Dean Smart serves as a Senior Lecturer in History and Citizenship Education within the ACE - Education and Childhood department at the University of the West of England, Bristol. His professional engagements span national and European educational initiatives through extensive collaborations with the Council of Europe and EUROCLIO (European Association of History Educators) for teacher training, resource development, and consultancy with museums and national bodies.
