About
Dean Liggett is a Lecturer in Fashion at the Ulster University, affiliated with the Belfast School of Art. He holds a first-class honours degree in textile and fashion design from Ulster University and has a decade-long professional background in the fashion industry, including roles at prestigious silk manufacturer Mantero Seta SpA in Como, Italy. His current research explores the role of hand skills in luxury fashion and sustainable practices within the textile industry.
