Dean A. Strang is a Distinguished Professor in Residence at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, holding the rank of Professor. He is a renowned criminal defense attorney and co-star of Netflix’s Making a Murderer. His practice spans over 30 years, including five years as Wisconsin’s first Federal Defender.

Strang co-founded the Center for Integrity in Forensic Sciences and has argued in the U.S. Supreme Court, federal appellate courts, and Wisconsin Supreme Court. He is a member of the American Law Institute since 2004.
