Day Atle Lysne is an Associate Professor in Biology and Science Education at NTNU's Department of Teacher Education within the Faculty of Social and Educational Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of Tromsø and has extensive experience in primary/secondary schools and kindergartens. Previously led NTNU Competence in Schools (2009-2013) and was Head of the Program for Teacher Education (PLU) until its closure in 2016.
