Dawn Field, MSIS, AHIP, is the Medical Informatics Librarian at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Medicine (UIWSOM). With over 18 years of experience in medical librarianship and a background in biomedical science, she supports students, faculty, and staff in research, evidence-based practice, and information literacy. Her career spans collaborations across disciplines including medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and biomedical sciences.

Dawn has worked extensively in health sciences education, including seven years supporting research in infectious diseases, virology, and genetics.
