Dawn Anzinger is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Forest Ecosystems & Society at Oregon State University's College of Forestry. She holds an M.S. in Forest Science (2002) and a B.S. in Natural Resources (1999, summa cum laude), both from Oregon State University. Her research interests focus on plants, including dendrology, native plant identification, woody plant biology, forest succession, and wild plant foods. She is an avid gardener, backpacker, and hiker, passions she integrates into her academic work.
Dr. Anzinger has taught and designed online courses in biological sciences and natural resources since 2002. She is a certified Quality Matters (QM) online course reviewer, emphasizing her commitment to educational quality. Courses she teaches include Tree and Shrub Identification, Forest Biology, Dendrology, Forest Plants of the Northwest, and Issues in Natural Resources Conservation, both on-campus and via Ecampus.
